About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how VoyajeBoard, the travel planning service operated by Voyajer Media LLC ("VoyajeBoard," "we," "us," or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies across the VoyajeBoard mobile app, the VoyajeBoard browser app, and the voyajeboard.com website. VoyajeBoard and the voyajeboard.com website are properties of Voyajer Media LLC. This Policy works together with the VoyajeBoard Privacy Policy, which describes the personal data we collect and how we use it.Where this Policy refers to "cookies," it also covers similar technologies described in the next section.
What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your settings, and to help operators understand how their sites are used. VoyajeBoard also uses related technologies, including:
-Local and session storage. Browser storage that holds small amounts of data, such as preferences, on your device.
-Mobile app storage and software development kits (SDKs). The mobile app does not use browser cookies. Instead, it uses on-device storage and SDKs to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support analytics and diagnostics.
-Identifiers. Limited application or installation identifiers used to keep your session active and to group diagnostic and analytics events. For readability, this Policy uses the word "cookies" to refer to all of these technologies together.
Categories of Technologies We Use
VoyajeBoard groups the technologies it uses into three categories. We do not use an advertising or cross-site tracking category, as explained in Section 7. Category Purpose Examples on VoyajeBoard Strictly necessary Required to operate the service, keep you signed in, support core features, and protect security. These cannot be switched off through a preference control because the service would not work without them. Authentication and session tokens, security and abuse-prevention signals, and load handling.Category Purpose Examples on VoyajeBoard Functional Remember choices you make so the service behaves the way you expect. These are not required, but turning them off reduces convenience. Language, measurement units, appearance settings, and one-time notices such as the affiliate disclosure banner. Analytics Help us understand how the service is used so we can measure performance, improve flows, and fix problems. Analytics data is used in aggregate. Product analytics events, feature usage and funnel measurement, and crash and performance diagnostics.Where the law of your region requires consent for functional or analytics technologies, we will ask for that consent before they are used and will let you change your choice later.
Cookies and Storage in the Mobile App
The VoyajeBoard mobile app does not use browser cookies. It uses on-device storage and SDKs to:
-Keep you signed in and maintain your session through our authentication provider.
-Remember preferences such as language, measurement units, appearance, and dismissed one-time notices.
-Support product analytics and crash and performance diagnostics so we can keep the app reliable. The mobile app does not read the device advertising identifier and does not use advertising SDKs.
Cookies and Storage on Our Websites
The voyajeboard.com website and the VoyajeBoard browser app may use cookies and local storage to:
-Keep you signed in and maintain a secure session.
-Remember site preferences and one-time notices.
-Measure site usage and performance through analytics, where permitted. Where required by law, a consent banner is shown on first visit. The banner gives equal prominence to accepting and rejecting non-essential cookies, and lets you manage your choices at any time.
Third-Party Service Providers
Some technologies are provided by service providers that process data on our behalf. These providers act as our service providers and processors and are listed in the VoyajeBoard Subprocessors List. They include our backend and authentication provider, our product analytics provider, and our crash and performance diagnostics provider. These providers are not permitted to use the data for their own advertising purposes.
No Advertising or Cross-Site Tracking
VoyajeBoard does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, third-party advertising SDKs, or cross-site or cross-app tracking technologies. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not use personal data to target ads, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Any sponsored placement that appears inside VoyajeBoard is selected based on the destination or content you are already viewing, is clearly labeled, and does not rely on tracking you across other apps or websites.
Your Choices and Controls
You have several ways to control cookies and similar technologies:
-In-app settings. Manage preferences, notifications, and privacy controls in the VoyajeBoard Settings screen.
-Website consent controls. Use the consent banner and preference controls on our websites to accept or reject non-essential cookies and to change your choice later.
-Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working.
-Device controls. Mobile operating systems provide controls for app data and notification permissions.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Where required by applicable law, our websites recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and treat it as a valid request to opt out of any processing that the law treats as a sale or sharing of personal information. Because internet standards for "Do Not Track" are not consistent, our websites may not respond to every Do Not Track signal, but our no-advertising-tracking position described in Section 7 applies regardless.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as VoyajeBoard changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use of VoyajeBoard after an update means the updated Policy applies.
